Please note: USDA-certified organic emulsifying wax serves the same purpose as traditional emulsifying wax and can be substituted for one, however, it doesn't behave in formulations in exactly the same way as the traditional, conventional emulsifying wax. Be sure to create a test batch and adjust your formula accordingly.

Formulation Guidelines:
Formulators can make an in situ soap emulsion by neutralizing this emulsifier with a small amount of sodium or potassium hydroxide in the water phase while making the emulsion. Organic Emulsifying Wax makes formulating organic certified creams and lotions very convenient.
