Keratin increases the moisture content of the hair restoring luster, body and increasing manageability. Keratin is distinct from other proteins in that it is rich in cysteine (a sulfur-containing amino acid) giving keratin a unique strength and protective quality. Since Keratin is a primary constituent of skin & hair, it is lovely in all types of hair & skincare formulations.
