Refined Mango Butter is a deeply nourishing, organic butter with wonderful slip and spreadability.

Certified Organic Refined Mango Butter is a highly moisturizing butter that is wonderful for all skin types, but is especially beneficial for dry skin. It is soft and pliable with a luxurious texture and slip, and is characterized by its high percentage of stearic and oleic fatty acids. The refined version is whiter and has a milder odor.
Organic Mango Butter is very stable with high spreadability, making it fairly easy to work with in cosmetic formulations. It is as beneficial for the hair as it is for the skin, and can be used in hair masks, conditioners, shampoos, or even on its own to help smooth and moisturize dry, frizzy, or damaged hair. It is also great for use in products geared toward curls or natural hair.
Procured from the fruit seed of the Mango Tree, Mango Butter is a rich, non-greasy, semi-solid plant-based emollient that is similar in chemical structure, feel and appearance to cocoa butter and shea butter, and is often used in similar applications.

Organic Mango Butter is oil soluble and should be added to the melt phase of your formulation.
In formulations:
- General use recommendation for standard body butter is: 80% hard butter, to 20% oil.
- Example: 80% hard butter, 18% oil, 1% Vitamin E ,1% fragrance or essential oil.
