Essential oils are concentrated single herb plant extraction delivery systems that bring pure plant specific power to any formulation. Oil of Oregano, extracted from the perennial herb oregano, offers an intense composition, with multi-beneficial support featuring over 50 dynamic compounds that help cleanse, and re-balance both organic (the body), and non-organic (stainless steel, plastic etc) surfaces.
This amazingly versatile EO has high levels of potent polyphenolic flavonoids, like carvacrol and thymol, which are recognized for their strong clarifying and revitalizing abilities, plus it is rich with Rosmarinic acid, a known antioxidant, as well as potent Terpenes, making it a great choice for use in supportive formulas.
Appearance: Clear yellow liquid.
Please note: Oregano is considered a dermal irritant - avoid application of known dermal irritant essential oils on any inflammatory or allergic skin condition; avoid undiluted application; avoid application on open or damaged skin; and dilute known dermal irritants with appropriate vegetable oil or other carrier. When using an essential oil you have never used before, perform a skin patch test.
