- It is wonderful in use as a clay poultice, mud pack, facial mask and even in some lotion and cleanser recipes.

Using a mortar and pestle is best for creating a paste with clay. Clay is amazing at around 40% in a body wrap, 30%-70% in a facial or body mask, and 0.05%-1% in a cleanser or lotion. Please be aware that clay is extremely hard to preserve.
