Safflower Oleosomes are a natural, mild emulsifier perfect for skin and hair care formulations calling for a high percentage of oil ingredients.

Safflower Oleosomes are naturally occurring, mild emulsifiers that allow you to make stable shampoo formulas with high percentages of oil ingredients. They are wonderful in natural skincare products to help delivery of other ingredients and are especially stable in high alcohol content products. It is possible to use 3% Safflower Oleosomes to replace polysorbates in natural formulations.

Viscosity: If using as a primary emulsifier, include thickeners to ensure the viscosity of the finished formulation is over 9000 cps (spindle 2) for optimal stability. Most surfactant systems are compatible however avoid harsh anionics (e.g., SLS).
